Guys, when life doesn't seem to be going our way, or according to plan, we can feel down, become overly critical of ourselves, and throw whatever goals or aspirations we may have had out the window. And if we don't recognize these feelings in real-time, it's not uncommon for some men to take on a victim mentality, which is neither healthy, accurate, or productive. And it certainly doesn't display much faith in God, through whom we are given the strength to do all things (Philippians 4:13).

My guest today had more than a few things not go his way in life. In fact, from the moment he was conceived, the deck was stacked against him. But through discipline and faith in Christ, he not only overcame being a legitimate victim, but he also persevered his and now helps others around the world.

Meet Victor Marx, a high-risk humanitarian and founder of All Things Possible Ministries, an organization dedicated to reaching and restoring victims of trauma worldwide. Victor and his team of retired special operations military personnel, including Delta Force commandos, have successfully run humanitarian efforts in Iraq, Syria, North Africa, and Southeast Asia—often in non-permissive and high-threat environments.
