The modern man faces many challenges, including depression, apathy, addiction, and more. I believe many of these issues stem from the fact that too many of us—myself included—lack physical challenges that, in the past, were part of everyday life. We don't have to work hard to acquire what we need to survive, and as a result of decades of relatively easy living, a large percentage of the adult male population has grown soft.

To compensate for our soft lifestyles and reclaim a key component of masculinity, men must replace the physical work once associated with survival and sustainability with regular and intentional physical training. Because with improved fitness, nearly every other aspect of your life will level up as a result.

To help unpack this in more detail, my friend Jordan Miller is joining me on this episode. He's the founder of Seeker Supplements and Run2Gun, where he's a personal trainer and nutrition coach and leads men to live beyond average.

In this conversation, Jordan and I discuss the many benefits of regular physical fitness, such as developing a growth mindset, improved performance (including the bedroom), and how the discipline developed in the gym bleeds into nearly every other area of life because physical training is a metaphor for life.
