A good dad is an intentional dad, a guy who routinely monitors his work-life balance, pours into his family, invests in his marriage, career, finances, and walks through life with a legacy mindset. But this stuff all takes time, intention and requires a certain "edge" if we are to be successful.

Larry Hagner

My guest has made a career out of coaching men to find success in all these things. His name is Larry Hagner, and he's the founder of The Good Dad Project, host of The Dad Edge Podcast, and leader of The Dad Edge Alliance.

Larry also has a new book coming out, and by the time you read this, it's probably been released. It's called Screen Time: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, and promises to be a great resource for parents to teach their kids how to manage screen time, and if you have kids old enough for a device, you know this is one aspect of parenting that can be a constant source of frustration.

During our discussion, Larry and I touched on several other topics that I think most of you will enjoy. Here's a quick hit list of what you can expect and why you should tune in:

  • Being a dad during the pandemic

  • Embracing time with our kids

  • Why men were put on earth

  • What parenting and mentoring men have taught him about life

  • The psychological effects of screen time

  • And some exciting new courses coming out soon
